CONGRATULATIONS 2026-27 PREFECT TEAM!
Every spring, Elmwood students, faculty, and staff come together to elect the student leaders for the year ahead. It is a process that asks a lot of our candidates: to reflect, to write, and to speak—each step requiring courage, thoughtfulness, and heart.
This year, we saw an incredible group of students step forward. Each one shared their ideas, their hopes, and their commitment to serving the school community. We are incredibly proud of the twelve students who have been chosen as the 2025–26 Prefect Team, and we know they will lead with purpose and integrity.
But just as importantly, we are proud of every student who ran for a Prefect position. To put yourself out there—to be vulnerable, ambitious, and brave—is no small thing. For those who did not receive a position, the grace, optimism, and support they have shown one another speak volumes. That, too, is leadership.
Thank you to every student who took part, and congratulations to our incoming Prefect Team. We cannot wait to see where you will lead us next.
