This Wednesday, students in grades 2 & 3 performed 'Rats! The Musical', a performance that they, Mrs. Evelyn Pike, and Mr. Arcello, have been working hard on. 'Rats!' is an adaptation of the story of The Pied Piper of Hamelin, a well-known tale about a mysterious man who charms all of the rats out of the town they have infested. When the piper isn't paid, however, things begin to go awry for the villagers, with the piper hypnotizing the village's children like he did the rats. What will the village do to get their children back? Suspenseful yet silly, this performance of 'Rats! ' was a smashing success!
