Last week, Elmwood held the annual Closing Ceremonies. Beginning with the Junior School on Wednesday, thank you to guest speaker and alumni Dr. Véronique French Merkley '96 for her encouraging words. Junior School Prefect, Camilla, also offered words of thanks and appreciation for Elmwood's youngest students.
Thursday held the Middle School ceremony, with speaker Dr. Jane Mathew offering congratulations to our grades 6 to 8, and Middle School Prefect, M-E, offering her best wishes and thanks to the MS students.
Friday evening was the Senior School event, including the graduation of Elmwood's Class of 2024. Words of celebration were provided by Elmwood's Chair of the Board, Jacqueline Palumbo-Sugunasiri. Senior School Prefect, Cleo, addressed her classmates with gratitude and thoughtful consideration. School Captain, Danya, delivered an impactful valedictorian address, expressing fondness for her fellow graduates and reflection on their times together at Elmwood.
Congratulations to each an every Elmwood student on a fantastic year, we cannot wait to see you again in September. Special congratulations to our incredible graduates, the entire Elmwood community is so excited to see what adventures lay in store for you!
