A MESSAGE FROM THE OGAA CO-CHAIRS

The arrival of Spring has brought with it a kaleidoscope of colours onto the Elmwood campus – the sunny yellow of the daffodil, pretty pink perennials, white blossoms of the many crab apples, all set against the bright green leaves of decorative shrubs and commemorative trees.

This Spring we’re delighted to be hosting two events for Old Girls and Alumni. Our first is our inaugural Plant & Garden Art Sale on Saturday, May 28th at Elmwood. We’ll have a variety of perennials, house plants and garden art by local artisans for sale. Proceeds will support the Old Girls’ Scholarship. The second event is our Old Girls and Alumni Luncheon on Friday, June 24th at the Royal Ottawa Golf Club. This will be a lovely way for us to gather and reconnect. See the “Upcoming Events” below for more information on each event.

If you’re interested in getting involved with Elmwood once again, we invite you to volunteer with the Old Girls & Alumni Association. We’re always looking for volunteers to help with content creation for ElmwoodConnect and other publications, event planning and execution, and some more fun jobs. If you’re interested, send a note to ogaa@elmwood.ca.

Happy Spring!
