The week of June 14th, we celebrated the closing of this extraordinary year with both in-person Certificate and Award Ceremonies and Virtual Closing Ceremonies for the Junior, Middle, and Senior School. From pre-kindergarten to Grade 12, each class had an opportunity to be recognized for their accomplishments on our graduation stage in front of their teachers, families, and classmates.
The rain during the ceremony for our Class of 2021 could not dampen the excitement and warmth as our community gathered to celebrate these exceptional students. Dressed in their white attire, each graduate was honoured on the stage for their accomplishments, and their post-graduation plans were shared with the community. Despite all the challenges, this group of students has excelled:
- 93% of the Class of 2021 are Ontario Scholars with an average of over 80%
- 82% of graduates received scholarship offers
- As a class, they received over $7.7 million in scholarship offers from schools around the world.
The academic excellence, determination, and incredible potential of these graduates are reflected in the offers they received from exceptional universities around the world.
It has been an extraordinary year and we are so proud of the resilience, determination, and adaptability our students, and their families have shown. And having them back on campus, however briefly, meant so much to everyone.
