by Rose Ceremony Planners (Hailey Kay, Sofia Robinson, Stefanie Tadman, Zafreen Abdullah)

The Rose Ceremony is an Elmwood tradition held at the end of each year to honour the graduating class. During the ceremony, every grad receives a speech from a younger student whom they are close. This year, the grade 11 students were tasked with organizing the event. This gave them the opportunity to practice various skills that will be integral in their roles as student leaders next year. Highlights from this year’s event included heartfelt stories and memories, witty remarks, and even a guest appearance from a younger sibling abroad! We would like to thank everyone involved in planning the event and wish the Elmwood class of 2022 all the best in their future endeavours.
