Tell us about your role and what you like most about it.
As a language teacher, my role is to create an environment where students are motivated to learn French. I believe that students are more engaged and receptive when they have fun learning.

Which word or phrase do you use most often?
When I was in elementary school, I was given a ruler with the quote “Ne fais pas aux autres ce que tu ne veux pas qu’on te fasse” (Don’t do to others what you don’t want us to do to you). I eventually lost the ruler but I still live by that motto.

What is one thing that would surprise people about you?
My favourite country is Myanmar. We discovered it as part of our travels in South-East Asia while working in Vietnam. Travelling with our 3 boys is an amazing experience for them, exploring new cultures, traditions and meeting memorable people.

What has impressed you most about the start of this year?
I am amazed every day by how self-driven and curious our students are. Their passion for learning engages me to provide them with the best learning opportunities.
