On Tuesday, March 2, we celebrated the Class of 2021 and marked the beginning of their last "100 days" at Elmwood.
The girls kicked off the afternoon with group walks around the neighbourhood (hot chocolate and their favourite muffins in hand). They returned to decorated homerooms, with beautiful custom gift boxes made especially for them. On their linen-clad desks were adorable class rings designed by Elmwood alum Joanna Rozanski '03 of Goldart Jewellery Studio Inc.
The class heard kind words of advice from their teacher, Teresa Marquis and a "toast" from Elmwood Alum, Janan Lewars '13. The girls also watched beautiful video messages from their teachers and members of the alumnae community.
They enjoyed a delicious lunch by the Elmwood Bistro and scrumptious cupcakes designed by The Girl With The Most Cake for dessert.
In these times of uncertainty, we hope the girls know for certain that they are an integral part of our community, and we're so happy to have been able to celebrate them today.
