Elmwood Fund

Support their tomorrow with a gift today!

The Elmwood Fund is a visionary fund that helps the school achieve strategic initiatives that are not covered by the cost of tuition. The funds are used to enhance facilities and implement new long-term initiatives and programming which support intentional and meaningful experiences for all of our students, from Pre-Kindergarten through to Grade 12.

These gifts by our community of parents, alumni, staff, and friends provide additional resources that allow Elmwood to be nothing less than extraordinary.

When you make a gift to the Elmwood Fund, at any level, you will have a direct impact on two strategic priorities in 2024-25:

Athletics at Elmwood – A new sports field

A new sports field will provide students and athletes with a valuable space to improve their physical, mental, and social well-being.

  • Physically, it offers a safe and high-quality environment for training and competition, helping to enhance fitness, strength, and endurance;
  • Mentally, regular physical activity on the field can reduce stress, boost mood, and improve focus, contributing to better overall mental health;
  • Socially, the field creates opportunities for teamwork, communication, and camaraderie, fostering a sense of community and belonging among students and athletes.

A new field will also offer a “home field advantage”, the opportunity to host games and tournaments, and welcome large groups of spectators to cheer Elmwood athletes!

Financial Assistance – Bursaries and Scholarships

Supporting Elmwood’s Bursary and Scholarship Program significantly enhances the educational environment at Elmwood.

  • The Bursary Program fosters diversity, equity, and inclusion ensuring that qualified students from various socio-economic backgrounds have equal access to an Elmwood education and opportunities, creating a more diverse and inclusive student body. This diversity enriches the learning experience, exposing students to different perspectives which promotes empathy and understanding.
  • The merit-based Scholarship Program recognizes students for their extraordinary success in their academics and extracurricular endeavours, giving them a sense of pride and accomplishment.

We are inspired by creating opportunities for all deserving students, adding to our rich culture here at Elmwood.

We invite you to make a gift in support of the 2024-25 Elmwood Fund in support of these two important initiatives.  Thank you!
