Elmwood Fund

Support their tomorrow with a gift today.

The Elmwood Fund, the school’s annual giving campaign, is the primary vehicle for philanthropy at Elmwood. The Fund allows our parents, alumni and friends the opportunity to play a bigger role in the lives of Elmwood students, and make a lasting impact on the school. In addition, the sense of community is strengthened when everyone gives and feels invested in the school’s mission and strategic direction.

Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference.

Summa Summarum

By now you would have read about the impressive academic successes of our most recent graduates: their acceptances to renowned universities in Canada and around the globe; the more than $11 million in scholarships awarded; and IB scores that ranked Elmwood in the top 1% of North American International Baccalaureate schools. There is no doubt that Elmwood’s standing on the academic stage is very strong.

Now is the  time to harness this momentum and stand proudly amongst the top-tier international schools.

This year’s Elmwood Fund will focus on the following three giving priorities, each designed to directly impact the academic achievements of every Elmwood student, from K-12.

This 2022-23 campaign priorities are:

Teaching Excellence

We will introduce an Associate Teacher Program, whereby faculty will train and work with young associate teachers who will increase the teacher-to-student ratio in key programs across all ages. Elmwood’s faculty will continue to be trained following the latest pedagogical theories through exemplary professional development opportunities. Finally classroom infrastructure will be addressed and upgraded to provide the best facilities for our students.

Health & Wellness through Play

We will renew our focus on the “whole girl” through physical and mental health through play – outdoor and indoor. Through specialized co-curricular and sports programming, students from K-12 will  be better equipped to mentally and physically concentrate on their academic pursuits. The Junior School co-curricular program will introduce more movement and physical activity, and our outdoor spaces and sports facilities will be updated and become better suited for all ages.

Financial Aid

We are committed to offering a school that  is diverse, equitable and inclusive. Our needs-based bursary program will continue to offer financial assistance to deserving candidates  of various means and backgrounds.

Your gift helps us provide the expertise, resources, faculty and facilities to ensure each girl can realize her potential, reach her goals and make a positive contribution to her community.

Thank you for supporting our girls by making a gift to the Elmwood Fund.
