Summa Summarum

ATTENTION ARTISTS & ARTISANS!

We are pleased to offer local artisans the opportunity to display and sell their work at the inaugural Elmwood Plant & Garden Art Sale on May 28, 2022. Artisans whose work is purpose-made for outdoor or garden display are encouraged to apply.

As we have a limited number of tables available (10 total*), we will be accepting applications from vendors until May 1, 2022. Simply fill out the Artist Application Form below.

*Please note that for the inaugural year of this sale, vendors will not be charged a table fee, though donations to the Elmwood Old Girls’ Scholarship are always welcome.

ATTENTION GARDENERS!

We will need help from the Elmwood community to make the plant sale a success, as we hope the source of the plants for the sale will be from all our gardens. So this spring, as you are dividing some of your special perennials, please keep this fundraiser in mind and put plants aside that you can donate towards this sale.

If you would like to donate plants to this sale, please consider the following:

  • We will accept perennials, annuals, herbs, vegetable seedlings, small shrubs, succulents, etc. What you don’t think is very special, someone else will!

  • Pot the plants and and label them with: the plant’s name, colour of the flower, approximate growth height, and whether the plant likes sun, partial sun or shade.  `

  • Plant Drop off will be at Elmwood School (261 Buena Vista Road, Rockcliffe) Reception area from Monday, May 23 (8 a.m. to 1 p.m.), and then Tuesday, May 24 through Friday, May 27 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Plants cannot be accepted the day of the event.

Share this with your friends and avid gardeners, both for sharing their plants and for coming to this event. There will be some great deals and some very special finds to put in your gardens!
