The Class of 2017 isn’t the only group marking graduation this week. On Wednesday our Senior Kindergarten class enjoyed a special treat to celebrate their graduation from our Early Years Programme.
During their time in the Early Years Programme, these girls have grown and learned so much. They have worked hard and applied themselves. Taking time to recognize their accomplishments is an important reward and marking this milestone sends a strong message: You did it!.
We took the Elmwood bus down to a new attraction on Beechwood, Sundae School. The girls did a great job ordering their sundaes and thanked the owner graciously. We then had the opportunity to burn off those sundaes at the newly renovated play structure at the nearby community centre.
Our Early Years graduates are moving on to Grade 1 at Elmwood and to the new discoveries and experiences that await them in Ms. Wakeham’s class. We are excited for what next year holds for them, but on Wednesday, we were happy to enjoy a sweet treat together.
