In celebration of Black History Month, JS students created collaborative LEGO sculptures inspired by artist Ekow Nimako and poems by Black authors, celebrating Black identity, history, and creativity. Through this cross-grade project, students transformed poetic imagery into art, fostering creativity, collaboration, and meaningful conversations about heritage and representation.

Elmwood launched its new Careers Breakfasts series on February 6, giving students the chance to explore post-secondary pathways through candid conversations with professionals, starting with a panel of alumnae and community members in medicine. The event emphasized curiosity, authentic engagement, and mentorship, encouraging students to pursue meaningful work, embrace challenges, and trust that there’s no single path to success.

Last night, our Grade 5 students wowed the audience with Blue Bottle, bringing the story of the Riley family and their journey to life through lively music and captivating storytelling. Thanks to the dedication of their teachers and Ms. Pike's incredible direction, our young performers delivered a truly unforgettable show.
