The Inspiring Girls of Elmwood’s Class of 2011

Friday June 17

Elmwood graduates are known for their truly impressive achievements, and the Class of 2011 is no different! 90% of the students were offered entrance scholarships and all together the small class of 30 girls earned over $750,000. Even more impressive, is the range of university acceptances that these young women have received. Programs include Aviation and Geography at Waterloo, Animal Biology at Guelph, Richard Ivey School of Business Advanced Entry at the University of Western Ontario, Media Theory and Production at the University of Western Ontario, Neuroscience at Carleton University, Math and Economics at Yale University, Architecture at Smith College and direct entry to medical schools in the UK and Ireland.

Once again, a great number of Elmwood graduates will be studying Math, Engineering and Science, with over 60% choosing that path. No matter the university destination or program, the entire Elmwood community is very proud of our graduates and their achievements.

We wish them the best of luck as they continue on their academic path.
