“Rube” awakening for Elmwood students
Wednesday April 22Ottawa, April 22, 2009 – Elmwood School Grade 8 students participated in a Rube Goldberg competition as part of their Science curriculum. A Rube Goldberg machine is a deliberately overengineered apparatus that performs a very simple task in a very complex fashion. Students spent the afternoon presenting their inventions to peers and parents, displaying their creativity and ingenuity.
