Primary Choir Earns Silver Again at Kiwanis Festival
Wednesday April 13Elmwood's Primary Choir (Grades 2, 3 and 4) performed at the Kiwanis Music Festival on April 6 and achieved the silver award in their category, with a mark of 88. They sang two songs, "Thunder and Lightning" and "Pass it Along."
Under the guidance of choir director and teacher Evelyn Pike, this was the choir's fourth year participating in the festival. The adjudicator commended the choir for their beautiful tone, focused attention and musical expression.
Mrs. Pike added, "The choir really enjoyed the experience of listening to other choirs and they themselves did a wonderful job!"
