Old Girls Return to Elmwood

Wednesday October 14

If you were back at Elmwood on September 26, 2009, you were a part of a reunion that brought together alumnae from each decade (even from the 1930s!) and former faculty from as early as the 1970s all joining together for a common purpose – to reminisce about days at Elmwood, share life experiences to date and see the Elmwood of today.  A special mention goes out to our eldest Old Girl, Katherine Ferguson ’35 and Nancy Chance, former Head of the Junior School, who were warmly greeted by all in attendance.

Then it was off to meet the Headmistress, Cheryl Boughton, tour the school and sit in on a classroom of today – which included demonstrations on the technology Elmwood students are using in their learning today, laptops, SMARTBoards, and how teachers are integrating the technology into their teaching.

The reunion wrapped up with a cocktail reception hosted by the School.

If you didn’t get a chance to join us this time – we look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming alumnae events.
