Impressive IB Diploma Results
Friday September 17Students and teachers at Elmwood are celebrating a 100% diploma pass rate in International Baccalaureate examinations. With 98% of our results at Grade 4 or higher and a third of all results at the highest Grades 6 and 7, we are extremely proud of the girls and their achievements.
This year’s results show a higher number of Grade 7s, the highest grade possible, as well as some outstanding individual results. Special congratulations go to Kelly O’Connor who was the top scoring diploma candidate this year. Kelly is currently studying International Relations at the University of British Columbia.
Headmistress, Mrs. Cheryl Boughton said, “It is incredibly rewarding to see girls fulfill their academic potential and this year’s results are a true reflection of the dedication and effort the girls, and their teachers, have put into their time at Elmwood. The excellent grades also confirm Elmwood’s standing as a leading academic school.”
