Elmwood Model United Nations Club hosts crisis simulation
Friday April 24Ottawa, April 24, 2009 – Elmwood students organized and participated in a Model United Nations crisis simulation based on events of 9/11. Two visiting high schools, Nepean and Woodroffe took part in the event, participating in a Crisis Committee, which is tied to a specific event in history. Instead of having prepared speeches, the delegates in these committees must think of solutions as events are happening. Ultimately, they can change the outcome of their committee from events that have actually happened in real life.
