Junior & Senior Kindergarten
At Elmwood, we understand that Kindergarten represents a significant milestone for all children and their families. Our exceptional Early Years programme offers a warm, nurturing environment where each child is welcomed as an integral member of our school community. Through experiential learning and imaginative play, our Kindergarten girls learn about the world and their place within it; our intimate class sizes, superb resources and skilled, dedicated teachers create an outstanding environment that supports student success. The Primary Years Programme of the International Baccalaureate is based on best practices from around the world, and it fosters an excitement for learning from the moment each girl enters our doors. Specialist teachers in French, music, technology and library work closely with the Kindergarten teachers to create a rich, dynamic learning environment, specifically tailored to the important needs of this age group.
